Class Schedule Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 4th. Your registration amounts to a ten-month commitment; September – June with a recital on June 15th. The studio has an independent schedule (we do not follow school systems). Please see attached. However, in the event of inclement weather we will follow Cabarrus County Schools – if CCS cancels classes due to inclement weather, dance classes will be canceled as well. Studio Closings
September 3rd: Labor Day November 19th-23rd: Thankgiving Holiday/Fall Break December 24th-January 1st: Winter Break April 1st-5th: Spring Break May 27th: Memorial Day Tuition and Fees All tuition is based on the entire dance season, not by the individual month or class. You may pay tuition in ten monthly installments or you may pay the entire fee the first month. Tuition will not be reduced for missed classes. There is a one-time registration fee of $25.00 that will be billed on Registration Day. Tuition is due on the first class of each month, and tuition will not fluctuate; there is a late tuition fee of $25.00. Methods of payment accepted are (a.) cash (b.) checks made out to Dance Expressions (c.) auto draft. Auto draft will be deducted from your account the first week of the month (1st-7th). We do not offer make-ups for missed classes. There is a $40.00 recital fee (sibling discounts apply) due in December and costume fee (varies by class) due in March. Students will not be permitted to participate in the recital if they have an unpaid balance. Student Expectations To avoid wasting class/instruction time, we ask that students arrive on time, wearing dance clothes with proper shoes, ready to go when class begins. Students should bring a water bottle to class; other beverages such as juice or sodas are not permitted. Students should go to the bathroom before class time, and eating and gum-chewing are not allowed in class. Parent Expectations To help students concentrate on dance, parents are not permitted to sit in on classes. There will be a designated parent week when you are invited and encouraged to watch your child dance; more information about that week will reach you shortly. Please be on time picking up your student when class time ends. Please have your student’s dance items in a small bag, to help keep track of their belongings. And without exception, always notify Stephanie before class if your child is going home with anyone other than a parent. Dance Clothing *WE REQUIRE ALL SHOES TO BE PURCHASED FROM DANCE EXPRESSIONS*
